What is DMARC Compliance?
DMARC Compliance is an algorithm which produces a "Pass" status for any host domain by assessing the implementation of DMARC. DMARC conformance allows for email to be easily spoofed. If a DMARC compliance status of Pass is reached it is a far more secure implementation and makes spoofing a domain often used in phishing attacks more difficult.
What DMARC Compliance research?
Zulu eDM DMARC Compliance research is the Worlds largest private research database into the adoption of DMARC and the effects an authenticated domain (using double check compliance) has on email reputation and delivery.
In 2016 Zulu eDM released our DMARC authentication option for users of our email marketing and email API services.
We subsequently created a DMARC Compliance algorithm (used by many industry peers) that defined what is a compliant and protected email domain within the contraints of the DMARC protocol.
The reason we did that was most domains were simply implementing p=none and / or not using the double check (white labelled return-path) configuration.
This research was the precursor to the development and release of Trusted Sender Score
